Love is .... the Easter Story

Good Friday reminds us of the selfless death of Jesus offering his own life as a sacrifice for our sin. This is reflected in the imagery of this years Easter postcard, evidenced by the trickle of blood and the surrounding dark sky. We realise just how powerful the dawn of the Easter Sunday is, as we see the contrasting dark and the light of dawn delivering hope and resurrection. It makes us reflect on our own lives and our own relationships. A loving relationship also takes a great deal of selflessness and sacrifice. We question how much are we willing to sacrifice for love? Are we willing to struggle in support of someone else? Are we willing to die for someone? If we love deeply and truly believe, is there any sacrifice that is too great?
