What? - Craft group
Our local Resthaven had a group of lonely women in early stages of dementia who needed a space to meet and do knitting together. When they requested our space we offered to do better and two of our members meet with them every week and provide refreshments and a wider range of crafts.
The ladies have enjoyed scrap-booking, card making and other activities. It is gentle and lovely, and it makes me proud of our church to see people living out our value of "extravagant love and gracious care to people inside and outside our church".
