Family relationships counselling

UnitingCare Wesley Adelaide Family Services provide quality counselling to promote healthy, safe and respectful relationships, prevent conflict and separation, support families experiencing separation and promote the right for children to have meaningful relationships with both parents.

Fees are charged on a sliding scale according to income and inability to pay is not a barrier to accessing a service.

Services are provided in Adelaide (08 8202 5190), Murray Bridge (08 8535 6800) and Christies Beach (book through our Adelaide location.)

 

Specialised family violence service

Family Services has a strong commitment to assisting people develop relationships that are healthy, respectful, safe and free from violence, control or abuse. We provide counselling for men who want to stop hurting those they care about and for women and children affected by family violence.

Fees are charged on a sliding scale according to income and inability to pay is not a barrier to accessing a service.

Noarlunga Family Relationships Centre

 

The Noarlunga Family Relationship Centre provides referral and resources to support relationships and Family Dispute Resolution (FDR) for families following separation & divorce.

It has a variety of resources available for people wishing to explore a range of relationship issues including pre marriage, general relationship issues, children’s issues and grandparent’s issues etc.

Youth and Parent Services - YPS

 

Youth and Parent Services is a parent adolescent conflict resolution service which helps to resolve conflict between a young person and their parents that may, or has, led to a young person leaving home prematurely.

Horizons

Horizons is a volunteer program of the Commonwealth Carer Respite Centre - North and West Country. Horizons volunteers provide social support and respite to carers and the people they care for, increasing their informal networks and enhancing their capacity to continue in their caring role.

Reconnect – Youth Homelessness Early Intervention Program

 

Reconnect is a Commonwealth funded Youth Homelessness Early Intervention Program.

Reconnect aims to work with young people aged between 12 and 18 years who are homeless, or at risk of homelessness, and wish to improve their level of engagement with family, work, education, training and the community.

Young Carers Respite

This funding targets young carers who are at risk of prematurely leaving secondary education or vocational equivalent because of their caring responsibilities. The aim is to support young carers, by providing access to respite to help them better manage/balance their educational and caring responsibilities.

This program works through the Commonwealth Carer Respite Centre.
